The House

Well, just a quick update for today. Rob and I got the house! It is an adorable 2 bedroom rental house in Moline, just minutes from my folks and nearly on the main thorough-fare on 23rd Avenue, the busiest street in Moline. It is just perfect for us- central air (which is good, as we love the mid-western heat, but not that much), a huge two car garage, a finished basement, nice front yard, a deck, and the best part is the huge fenced-in backyard, just perfect for little miss diva Maddy, who will enjoy being able to run again!! It is in a great neighborhood with adorable houses with green, beautiful lawns. It is also the perfect place for my voice studio and home office. We can't wait.

We are paying rent for July, even though we won't be here until later that month. Due to the fact we have the house for July, we are hoping to leave Eureka a week earlier than expected! We are super jazzed about the prospect of getting the F out of there in the middle of July instead of the end. Once we return to Eureka (on Monday) we will be in the process of trying to move around all of our reservations. If that pans out, then we will be on the road by July 18. F-ing awesome.

Tomorrow we drive to O'Hare and fly back to CA. Monday we pick up the girl and head home. We miss Maddy, but not Humboldt County. Not long now....
