Update!!!

Hello faithful readers! I do apologize for not updating, but most of you know, Rob and I are currently in Illinois this week, securing a place to live for our return in late July. We are having some luck, but having a dog doesn't bode well with most landlords. Ah well. However, we have found an adorable apartment in Bettendorf, on the Iowa side of the QC, which we are thinking we might just take if the house we look at tomorrow doesn't work out.

We have had a hectic week. Last Monday was a relaxing day in beautiful Sonoma Valley in Wine Country before a busy day in the City on Tuesday. We flew out at the butt crack of dawn Wednesday, then two days of good fun in Nati before driving to the QC on Saturday night. We are quite exhausted, as my sister and our 2 1/2 year old nephew Enzo are here as well. Enzo is the best kid, but likes to awake at 6am. Aunt Ally and Uncle Rob, who are frequently used as a jungle gym, are always up with him (not by choice!). But it has been great fun seeing them- the last time we saw them, Enzo was just crawling, in September of 2005 (they live in Michigan). We are here until Sunday, when we then fly back to the City. Will keep you posted as news develops, and will post pics galore when we return to the North Coast (my parents still have dial-up. Not kidding.).
